This Privacy Policy describes how the Riman AI Recommendations Chrome extension (“the extension”) handles information when you use it. We take a minimalist approach: the extension collects as little as possible, stores nothing on our servers, and shares nothing with advertisers or analytics platforms.
Summary (the short version)
- No personal data is collected. No name, email, login, IP address, cookie, or tracking identifier is captured by the extension.
- No analytics. We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, or any other analytics SDK.
- No selling of data. We never sell, rent, or trade any information.
- Local only. All work happens inside your browser tab. Nothing is saved on your device between sessions.
- One outbound request is made when you click Generate strategy — sending the scraped page title, meta description, first ~1,500 characters of body text, and the context inputs you typed (goal, locale, budget) to our proxy at
https://tire-compare.com/api/aeo-proxy.php, which relays the request to OpenAI and returns the response. That payload is not logged or retained by us.
1. What data the extension accesses
When you click the Riman AI Recommendations icon on a web page, the extension uses the activeTab permission to read the following from only the currently focused tab:

The extension does not read form contents, cookies, localStorage, passwords, clipboard data, history, bookmarks, or any other browser data.
2. What data you enter
When you use the Context tab, you may optionally enter free-text into three fields: campaign goal, target locale, and budget/tROAS. These values are sent alongside the page content when you click Generate strategy. They are not stored anywhere — they live only in the popup’s memory and are discarded when the popup closes.
3. Where the data goes
When you click Generate strategy, the extension makes one HTTPS POST request to:
https://tire-compare.com/api/aeo-proxy.php
This proxy, operated by Riman Agency, forwards the request body to the OpenAI API and returns the response. The proxy:
- Does not log request bodies.
- Does not associate requests with any user identifier.
- Uses TLS for transport.
- Does not set cookies or persistent tokens on your device.
OpenAI processes the request under their API data usage policy — data submitted via API is not used to train their models.
4. What is stored
Nothing is stored persistently by the extension. There is no chrome.storage usage, no localStorage, no IndexedDB, no cookies. When you close the popup, all state (the generated strategy, your context inputs, the scraped page data) is discarded.
If you click Export Word report, a .doc file is generated entirely in your browser and downloaded to your device. That file is yours; nothing is uploaded.
5. Permissions justification
The extension requests the minimum permissions required to function.
activeTab— lets the extension read the title, meta description, body text, and image URLs of the tab you are currently looking at, only when you open the extension popup. It does not grant background or cross-tab access.scripting— lets the extension inject the one-time scraper function into the active tab so it can collect the data listed above. Required by Chrome Manifest V3 to runchrome.scripting.executeScript.https://tire-compare.com/*(host permission) — lets the popup POST the scraped text to the AI proxy so a strategy can be generated.
The extension does not request <all_urls>, tabs, history, bookmarks, cookies, storage, webRequest, or any other permission.
6. Children
The extension is intended for adult marketing and advertising professionals. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.

We do not integrate with any other third party.
8. Your rights
Because no personal data is collected or stored, there is no account, profile, or record to access, modify, or delete. If you have a question about this policy, please email t@rimanagency.com and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Changes to this policy
If we materially change how the extension handles data, we will update this document and the “Last updated” date, and we will note the change in the store listing. Continued use of the extension after an update constitutes acceptance.
