This data is accessed only when you click the extension or use the right-click feature.

  • Custom instructions
  • Highlighted text (via right-click feature)

c. Generated Content

  • AI-generated social media posts

3. How We Use Information

The accessed data is used strictly to:

To generate AI content:

  • The extension sends selected webpage content to a secure backend API endpoint.
  • This backend processes the request using AI services and returns results.

Important:

  • No personal browsing history is collected.
  • No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Data sent for processing is limited to what is necessary to fulfill the request.

6. Permissions Usage

The extension uses only the minimum permissions required:

  • activeTab – Access current page content when triggered
  • scripting – Extract webpage content dynamically
  • contextMenus – Enable right-click generation
  • storage – Save preferences and generated content locally

These permissions are used solely to support the core functionality.

7. No Background Tracking

Social Playbook Pro:

  • Does not track browsing activity
  • Does not collect analytics on user behavior
  • Does not run background data collection processes

All actions are initiated by the user.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to:

  • Ensure secure communication with our backend API
  • Prevent unauthorized access to processed data
  • Keep API keys secure via server-side handling

9. Your Control

You have full control over your data:

  • You can clear stored data anytime via Chrome settings
  • You can uninstall the extension to remove all stored data
  • No account or login is required

10. Children’s Privacy

This extension is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy
