  • Local Storage: The Extension uses your browser’s local storage to temporarily save your recently generated social media snippets so you can access them without re-running the prompt.

3. How We Use Your Information We use the collected information exclusively to provide the Extension’s core functionality: generating customized social media posts.

  • No Background Tracking: The Extension does not track your browsing history or monitor pages in the background. It only reads the specific page you ask it to analyze.

  • No Data Hoarding: We do not store your webpage content or generated posts on our servers. Our backend proxy acts strictly as a secure pass-through to transmit your payload to the AI provider.

4. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing To generate your social media content, the extracted text and user inputs are securely transmitted through our backend proxy to OpenAI’s API.

  • Data sent to OpenAI via their API is retained by OpenAI only for a short period for abuse monitoring and is not used to train their AI models.

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, browsing data, or generated content to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

5. Data Security We prioritize your security. All data transmitted between your browser, our secure proxy, and OpenAI is encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS protocols. Because we do not store your personal data on our servers, the risk of data breaches on our end is minimized.

6. Your Rights and Control You have full control over your data:

  • You can clear your locally saved generation history at any time by clearing your browser’s extension data or uninstalling the Extension.

  • You can stop the collection of data immediately by uninstalling the Extension from your Chrome browser.
