This policy explains what information the AEO Auditor Ultimate Pro Chrome extension (“the Extension”) uses, why, and where it goes. The Extension is published by Riman Agency (“we”, “us”).
What the Extension does
The Extension audits the web page you choose and shows how to make it easier for AI search tools and search engines to understand and cite. It also creates page-specific recommendations and rewrites highlighted text.
Information processed on your computer only
When you open the Extension on a page, it reads that page to calculate your score and checks. This includes headings, title, meta description, structured data, links, images, main text, and the site’s public robots.txt and llms.txt files. All of this is calculated in your browser and is not sent anywhere.
The Extension saves the following in your browser’s local extension storage on your computer:
– the recommendation plan created for each page you audit
– your campaign settings (audience, keywords, goals and any notes file you upload)
– which recommended fixes you have marked as done
– recent results from the right-click analysis
We cannot see this stored information.
Information sent to our server
Information leaves your browser only when you click “Generate AI plan” or “New plan”, or when you highlight text, right-click, and choose “Analyze selection for AEO/GEO”.
When you do, the Extension sends the following to our server at https://tire-compare.com over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection:
– the page’s address (URL), title, meta description, headings, breadcrumbs and a list of links to other pages on the same site
– up to about 3,500 characters of the page’s main text
– the text you highlighted, if you used the right-click option
– your campaign settings and notes, if you entered any
Our server passes this information to OpenAI, which generates the recommendations, and returns the result to your browser. We use OpenAI only to create your recommendations. OpenAI’s handling of data sent through its API is described in its own policies at https://openai.com/policies.
The Extension does not collect your name, email address, passwords, payment details, location or browsing history. It does not track clicks, keystrokes or other activity. It does not read any tab you have not chosen to audit.
Please do not put personal or confidential information in the campaign settings or notes. Anything you enter there is sent with your request.
How long we keep it
Our server does not store the content of requests. It is passed to OpenAI and discarded once the response is returned to your browser.
What we do not do
– We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
– We do not use it for advertising, profiling or any purpose other than creating your recommendations.
– We do not use it to decide creditworthiness or for lending.
Permissions the Extension uses
– activeTab and scripting: read the page you choose to audit, only after you click the Extension or use the right-click option.
– contextMenus: add the “Analyze selection” right-click option.
– storage: save your plans and settings on your computer.
– downloads: save your report as a Word file when you click “Download report”.
– Access to tire-compare.com: send requests to our server to create recommendations.
– Optional site access: requested one site at a time, only if you open the audit in a full browser tab and click “Allow access to this site”.
Deleting your information
To delete everything the Extension stores on your computer, remove the Extension from Chrome. Removing it deletes its local storage. You can also replace a page’s saved plan at any time by clicking “New plan”. For anything on our server, contact us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
If the way the Extension handles information changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date.
