Plan the month before you post
A content calendar turns "we should post more" into a schedule your team can actually follow. You decide in advance what goes out, where and when, so posting stops being a daily scramble. This planner builds that schedule for you from a few choices: start date, number of weeks, platforms, posting days and content pillars.
How it works
- Pick the platforms you use and the days you want to post.
- List your content pillars, the three to five themes your brand talks about.
- The planner spreads posts across every chosen day and rotates pillars evenly, so no theme takes over.
- Each platform gets a rotating format suggestion, like a Reel then a carousel on Instagram.
Download the plan as a CSV file that opens in Excel, or copy it and paste straight into Google Sheets. The sheet includes empty caption, asset link and status columns, so it works as your team's working document from day one.
Frequently asked questions
How often should I post?
Pick a pace you can keep for months. A steady three posts a week usually beats a burst of daily posts that stops after two weeks. Check your own analytics after a month and adjust.
What are content pillars?
They are the recurring themes your audience can expect from you, for example tips, behind the scenes, customer stories and offers. Pillars keep your feed varied and make it easier to come up with ideas.
Can I edit the calendar after downloading?
Yes. The file is a normal spreadsheet. Change dates, swap formats and fill in captions as your plan takes shape.
