Business data scraping: The Extension only gathers publicly available information displayed on Google Maps (such as business name, rating, reviews, phone number, website, address, and price range).

Local storage: Your scan results and settings are stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage. They are never sent to our servers.
Use of AI Review Summaries

If you choose to enable AI review summaries, the Extension will send a small sample of scraped review text to the OpenAI API to generate summaries.

You must provide your own OpenAI API key for this feature to work. This key is stored locally in your browser and never shared with us.

Any review data sent to OpenAI is subject to OpenAI’s Privacy Policy.

Permissions
The Extension requires permission to run on https://www.google.com/maps/* in order to extract listing information. These permissions are used solely to enable the Extension’s core functionality.

Because no personal data is collected or transmitted to our servers, risks are minimized. However, if you use the AI review summary feature, please handle your OpenAI API key responsibly and keep it secure.
