One box, every letter case you need

Retyping a heading because it was written in the wrong case is a small task that eats real time. Paste your text, pick a style, and copy the result. The tool only changes letter case. Spacing, punctuation, numbers and line breaks stay exactly where they were.

What each style does

  • UPPERCASE turns every letter into a capital. Good for short labels and buttons, tiring in long paragraphs.
  • lowercase turns every letter into a small letter. Handy for cleaning up text that was typed with caps lock on.
  • Title Case capitalizes the main words and keeps short words like "of", "the" and "and" in lowercase, unless they start or end the title.
  • Sentence case capitalizes the first letter of each sentence and lowercases the rest. Short words in all caps, like SEO or NASA, are kept.
  • Capitalize Each Word puts a capital on every single word, with no exceptions.
  • tOGGLE cASE flips every letter, and aLtErNaTiNg switches between small and capital letters.
  • camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case and CONSTANT_CASE join words for variable names, CSS classes, file names and URL slugs.

Everything runs in your browser. Your text is not sent to a server or stored anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with accented letters and other alphabets?

Yes. Accented letters such as é or ü convert correctly, and so do alphabets with upper and lower case like Greek and Cyrillic. Scripts without letter case, such as Arabic or Chinese, are left as they are.

Will it fix proper nouns in sentence case?

Not automatically. A tool cannot know that "montreal" is a city. Short acronyms in all caps are kept, but check names and places after converting.

Which style should I use for blog titles?

Either Title Case or Sentence case works. What matters is picking one and using it everywhere on your site, so your headings look consistent in search results and on the page.

Can I use the code styles for URL slugs?

kebab-case gives you lowercase words joined by hyphens, which is the usual format for readable URLs. Remove accents first if your platform does not handle them well.
